This a keyframe illustration I did for Marvel's Doctor Strange.
In this keyframe the first thing I wanted to establish was scale, and then secondly how we would see it through a lens. I wanted to visualize how much a camera could potentially capture and still keep it interesting as an illustration. I was exploring the subtleties of the consequence of the portal, the rippling effects, and how this could potentially affect what the camera lens is picking up. I wanted it to feel real.
